Digital Printing

Digital printing opens up a whole new world for large format /short run printing , speed, quality and economy in colour. For short runs it is no longer necessary to make colour separations and plates or silk screens which results in adding expense. At A & H we can take your Mac or IBM compatible created files and send direct to our digital printers. If you need us to create the file for you our designers will be more than happy to be of service to you. Our printer handles a size of 52 inches wide by 50 feet long which would cover most sizes you are ever going to need.

We also offer a special tiling facility for larger street hoarding which can go upto 48 sheet posters as easily as an A3/A2/A1/B1/B2 poster.

Mounting and encapsulating (laminating) is also available for these large posters which can be ideal for exhibition panels, point of sale and display materials.

Books & Booklets

Our standard booklet prices allow for a large variety of booklets and books to be priced. As well as the range of papers and different options, there are also two types of binding available.

Wire stitching (stapling) is ideal for booklets with a smaller number of pages. For a larger number of pages either wire stitching or perfect binding works well. For even larger books perfect binding is the most suitable option. Each of the price table gives a recommended minimum number of pages required for perfect binding.

Non Standard Booklets : Please fill out out 'Order Quotation' form or fax us or phone us or email us if your particular book or booklet requirement is not listed or you require confirmation of our prices. Our prices are for booklets bound on the long edge. Landscape booklets, bound on the short edge, need a special quotation.

Folders

Folders are made from 350gm silk art card printed on one or both sides in any number of colours or full colour. They can be specified for either A4 or A5 size documents. Folders can be laminated with gloss or matt laminated as required. We can also spot UV varnish - please ask for details.

They are supplied flat with interlocking pockets as standard, but can be supplied with fully assembled if required. Folders can be un gusseted or gusseted. Un gusseted folders are ideal for presentations of a small number of pages - less than 10 sheets. Gusseted folders have a larger capacity for bulky presentations. The gussets on the pockets and spines of all gusseted folders are 2mm with the exception of Type AH4. This folder has a gusseted pocket of 2mm but a spine of 4mm.

Business Card Slot : A4 folders can be supplied with slots to hold a business card on either the vertical or horizontal flap (please specify position and card size) at an extra cost of £10 setup for any quantity.
